We contacted the original author of our code. She told us shortcuts to using the code and we discovered other attributes of it previously unknown. We began playing with the machine learning applications in matlab and translating the information it was spitting out. Furthermore, two ML algorithms were trained in parallel, on on the local computer and another on the OU server. The training on the OU took place a much quicker rate. For future computations of large numbers, we will be using the OU server ideally.
